It's a nice little memory, but it's hard to tell how well it fits in a story without reading it. I assume you're implying that this angry grown woman was once a sweet little girl and there's a reason for telling it... Or to simply give the answer of the fact that Zephyr can no longer help her.

A little of both, and to show Zephyr's guilt for helping to destroy a child's innocence.



Perhaps I should add more before and after the flashback for it to make more sense to you?
