Although writing conferences can feel overwhelming, I enjoy them. I think they are essential to writers. The networking, encouragement, teaching, and learning, help you to stay current and inspired to forge ahead in this long journey of writing.
DiHowever, some conferences are expensive, so I don't go as often. I like to do weekend conferences, they're short and not too expensive.
