I met Matilda Butler, co-publisher of Rosie's Daughters, at the last East of Eden writers conference. Matilda is an expert on the writing of memoirs (and the reading of them--you should SEE her bookshelves!), and she's a wonderful teacher and person. She gave me lots of help and advice on the Memoir chapter of The Writing & Critique Group Survival Guide, and she asked me if I'd do an interview for her Memoir Moments on www.womensmemoir.com. I said yes, with pleasure (even though it's in audio, and I've never liked my voice on tape!)
