About Me: You will come to know after having been with me for awhile that everything is a mystery to me. That’s not to say that I’m always in the dark, but I am usually searching for enlightenment.

My children’s father died of lung cancer and later on I married my sweet husband Jim. Our children are grown up and have blessed us with beautiful grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Since my earliest days, I've loved story telling. My mother gave me a mystery book for my birthday when I was seven years old and from that day forth I had a real passion for mysteries. My love of mysteries was uncontrollable.

Several years ago, I bought my first computer and the rest as they say is history. I was bitten by the mystery writing bug and I've been suffering from bouts of writers block ever since.

My husband Jim and I now reside in Florida with our two furry babies Jaabo (a Yorkie boy) and KeeKee (a Chorkie girl) and I'm enjoying being able to write anytime I'm moved to do so.

Here in Saint Augustine, "I’ve become a student of life". What a wonderful place for an aspiring mystery writer to be. It's a never ending supply of fodder for thought, keeping my creative juices flowing.

I'm still dreaming of writing the next great mystery novel.

We come here to inspire, teach, learn and generally have a good time discussing what we do with other writers with like interests. It doesn't matter where we are in our writing experience. Whether we've been writing for many years or are a novice just trying our wings; whether we're making a career of it, or have our own special reasons. We can enjoy the experience of sharing with our peers.

If you have a particularly touching success story that you feel would inspire the rest of us and make our day, please share it.  We can all use a little inspiration along the way.

If you're having an especially bad day and maybe struck by the old writer's block malady, come and get some encouragement and pointers from some of our writing buddies.  It may be just what you need to pick up your spirits and get you rolling again.

Getting about the business of it, is probably not the most fun part of being a writer, to most of us.  Hopefully, we'll be able to find some ways to make it a little easier, if not more fun.  Anyone out there to shed some light on this dark subject?

Are we all marketing ourselves as effectively as is possible.  Is it as important to market ourselves as it is to market our writing product?  I would like to hear your views.

ePubilishing - How important is it to a writer?  Share your ideas.
