Hello all,

Could anyone help me with a very simple request - I have submitted a book-proposal that has been received significant interest from a leading Literary Agent, but I want to express the length of it  - can anyone tell me what is the standard number of words to a hardback page for publishing purposes?

I have just counted the words in a book similar to the type we are planning, and a very full page came in at 400, although I am told industry standard is 300 - or is it 350?

Tedious query I know, but on such details our fates can hang...
