Sometimes I run across publications, like AARP Magazine, which sounds likes it uses freelancers but states "not accepting unsolicited mss" - do they accept query letters? or does this mean they just don't want to deal with writers who aren't already established with them? Sorry to sound so dumb, but the wording confuses me. Thanks for any help, Susan
