Answer: Once you have successfully logged into your account, select the Groups tab along the top of your site. Select the appropriate group, and then select “Edit Information”. At the bottom of the screen it will ask you if you’d like to permanently delete this group. Hit Delete. Question: How do I change the group moderator? Answer: Once you have successfully logged into your account, select the Groups tab along the top of your site. Select the appropriate group and then select “Step Down as Moderator”. Question: How do I add a friend? Answer: Once you have identified a user you want to befriend, you can invite them to be a part of your friend list. Visit their profile page and below their name you’ll see a link that reads, Add Friend. Depending on the user’s privacy settings, they will either immediately be added to your friend list or a mail message will be sent to that user asking them to accept or decline your invitation. Question: What is a group? Answer: A group is a gathering of people interested in the same topic. On the community site we have a number of groups you may join. You can also form your own groups by clicking on Groups in the main navigation bar and clicking the Create Group button. By joining a group you will be able to access all of the content of the group and the log of the group owner as well as be notified by the owner of items of interest to the group. Question: How do I join a group? Answer: To join any of the groups on the community site click on Groups in the main navigation bar. Then click on the group you want to join. On the right hand side under the group’s profile image there is a link that allows you to Join This Group. Click on the link and you’re in. Question: How do I create a group? Answer: Once you have successfully logged into your account select the Groups tab along the top of your site. Then click on Create Group in the upper right hand side of the page. Here you will be able Create Your Account, Complete Your Sign Up, and Build Your Site. Question: What is a friend? Answer: A friend is someone on the site that you’d like to be able to see your private gallery and your blog. When you become their friend you will be able to see your friend’s gallery and blog as well. On your Home page, you will see a list of recent friend activity (on the left-hand side of the page). This allows you to easily see if any of your friends have added new blog posts or uploaded new images to the gallery. |
