Finished my fourth novel for the year. It feels good to complete something, now I just have to edit it, re-edit it, polish it, and then get a query letter written.
I think I'll put it off for a few weeks though and focus on one of the other two novels I'm supposed to be editing and polishing right now.
I think with my next project I'm going to try to venture away from the vampire theme I've been so obsessed with. Maybe a ghost story or a horror novel is waiting to be written? Who knows...I can't seem to go any length of time without writing something.
I do have two novels on the back burner about 1/3 of the way written, maybe I should pick them back up and finish before starting another new project. I'm still waiting for that call from an Agent saying they want to represent the one I have finished...patience isn't one of my stong suits though.
Wish me luck.

Four novels this year. Now that sounds familiar. That's how many I've written, too. Okay, do you have a critique group that can keep up with your writing pace?
Maria Rachel HooleyI also laughed because I had narrowed my choices for my next project down between horror, ya urban fantasy, and sci fi. The sci fi one won. I started it on Monday and I'm already almost finished with two chapters.
And I do know what you mean about the editing. I hate it. That's what I'm doing with my horror manuscript.
Good luck with the agent.
