I think i have temporary writing insanity!
So many days go by lately where i feel the need to write, and life keeps stopping me. I changed my hours at work to a 5:30 am to 2:30pm schedule. I thought this would give me more time in the evenings with my children. I love it. My only issue now is, there is always someone around when i want to write.
Sometimes, i need solitude. I was thinking that maybe sitting in the bathtub (without water people), and the laptop would be the best place to hide. But alas, they come knocking on that door too! :)
For now, i guess i will just have to concentrate on a few paragraphs a day- after the kids homework is done. I'd rather leave the bathtub for soaking!
I did find that authors den is offering a special for it's members on self publishing through lulu.com. If anyone is interested check out authorsden.com for more info. Please be wary though, as self publishing means....no agent, and YOU market your book.
The publishing company who requested my manuscript will probably give me some type of response between mid November or December. The publisher is quick to reply to my emails. This means to me, they really do keep up with their potential clients.
So friends, as soon as i know something, i will let you know.
Happy Writing!

I think every writer goes through this. I know I have. I've learned to silence my cell just to get peace sometimes and get the words down. The trick is to set up some kind of writing agreement with yourself that you can live with and stick to it. Perhaps if you keep a planner, write down your daily progress. This will definitely inspire you to write more.
Maria Rachel HooleyAnd please send a friend request on Authorsden. I haven't really looked around the site enough to see who is on there.
