Interested In:
Fiction, Non Fiction
About Me:
I'm a writer and storyteller. My natural inclination is to wander around, make up stories, sing songs, and enlighten others. I hope someday I might take myself seriously.
What I Write:
Mostly fiction.
Credits & Accomplishments:
Nothing official, I've only just gotten the nerve to show my writing to others. So far the consensus is positive.
Hobbies
I love reading. I read anything and everything; but more often, I read histories, current events, and (secretly) I enjoy comics/manga.
I also enjoy lazing around and daydreaming. (I doubt many people would admit to that). When I'm not lazing or reading, I can be found exploring the city and having drinks with friends/family.
Music:
My only preference is that the lyrics have depth and wit, and that the music itself is well-composed. Keeping to that, I'm an equal-opportunity listener.
Favorite Movies:
No Country for Old Men, Snatch, Amelie, 300, Nosferatu, Monty Python's Quest for the Holy Grail, The Outsiders, The Jane Austen Book Club, Momento, Rashomon, Before Sunset, Blade Runner, Casablanca, The Bourne Identity, Commanding Heights, The Dark Knight, Gattaca, Fight Club, The Manchurian Candidate, Mary Poppins, Kill Bill, Mystic River, Persepolis, The Princess Bride, Dark City, The Matrix, Match Point, Meet Joe Black, Lost In Translation...
Let me stop here, or the list will never end :D
Favorite Books & Authors:
Best Book Ever goes to "Catch 22" by Joseph Heller.
I also love: The Prize, The Mother Tongue, Pride & Prejudice, Persuasion, Alice In Wonderland, Breakfast of Champions, Le Comte de Monte-Cristo, Joy In the Morning, Tarzan, Tales of the Otori, The Alchemist, ...
Heroes:
It sounds sappy (I know), but my mom is my hero.
Single mother of two, not even a high school education, yet she sacrificed everything to raise us well and send us to college. That is admirable on so many levels.
Education:
In College
Schools:
College of the Atlantic (Bar Harbor, ME)
Years Writing:
6 - 10 Years
