New Chapter - Selling the Novel

Friday, October 10, 2008, 09:50 PM PST [General]

I'm glad to be part of this community. I've written a novel that I want to get to market. Learning about agents and how to make a match with the right one is my current challenge. I want an agent who loves my novel, has tons of experience connecting authors like me with the right publisher, who is interested in working together for a long time, and who is professional and fun to work with. Am I asking too much?

The class on writing a query is one that I'm looking forward to starting on the 23rd. Anyone with tips on the agent search, please share your ideas!
