I sent out Query letters on January 28th and received two rejections by the next morning.  Do you suppose they read them when they get rejected that fast?  Oh well.  I am trying to be hopeful.  And my next book idea is already clamoring to find its way onto my computer.  Looks like I'll be starting again!!!  Yikes.  I thought I'd take a small break from writing but I guess it's not meant to be.  My book is about a 16 year old girl who has spent her whole life hidden away in the woods with her mother.  Then her mother decides to send her to a real school...  There, she meets two boys who have a very strange effect on her.  One makes her nervous, clearly on purpose, while the other avoids her at all costs because of the unshakeable connection they share.  In the end, she discovers that one wants her for what she can give him and the other wants her for her.  It's got a bit of fantasy, a bit of romance & passion and a smidgeon of action/adventure in it.    I'd best get back to it.  Happy writing!!!

I've just completed my manuscript and begun the delightful process of submitting query letters.  I'm still terrified to move on to the synopsis but I know I'll get there.  We're snowed in yet again.  You've got to love this lovely Ohio weather.  I'm sitting here writing this while my eight year old son has a grand old time with a whoopie cushion.  What a day!!!
