As some of you may already know, November is National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo). Every year--for the past 10 years--writers from around the world participate in a writing marathon to write 50,000 words from November 1 - November 30. The idea is to write constantly and not edit anything until you're finished. A concept that is much easier in theory.
This is the first year that I am personally participating in NaNoWriMo. Admittingly I knew nothing about it until this year. The reason I'm mentioning it now is to see if any of you are participating and if you are how far you've come?
I may create a NaNoWriMo forum at some point also, but there would be little point in doing so if I'm the only person in the group participating. So, who's wracking their brain to pump out 50,000 words this month?
For those who do not know about NaNoWriMo, find out more about it at NaNoWriMo.org

I found out about NaNoWriMo from someone else's blog on this site, actually. I think there is agroup of NaNoWriMos here. Check it out.
DianeI joined, but decided not to try officially. I'm working for myself, not driving myself crazy, and it is working. But the pressure of seeing my word count isn't there. Personally, I count pages. It's so much more satisfying.
