I recently read an online news article about the presentation for online portfolio's (websites advertising who you are and what you do) and amongst the guidance provided I read that blogging is apparently the new claim to fame approach. Do any of you blog?
Obviously I write here from time to time, but I've got LiveJournal for personal memories of sorts; keeping family and close friends informed on what's going on in my more personal life. Also, I started a Blogger account at blogspot some time ago.
After reading the article I decided to try blogging a little more, maybe it will help my writing career for others to see what style I'm writing in, what context I have to offer. The other necessity for an unknown, growing writer is exposure, so if you've got a blog at blogspot let me know and I'll add you to my listing of blogs I watch.

Script Frenzy is coming up soon! (April 1 - 30) Who's participating?
If you don't know what Script Frenzy is, it's similar to NaNoWriMo and can be found here: What is Script Frenzy? If you do plan to participate, I'd love to include you in my list of Writing Buddies. Either add me to your list or leave me a link to your account so I can add you. Best of luck to all who participate!
As some of you may already know, November is National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo). Every year--for the past 10 years--writers from around the world participate in a writing marathon to write 50,000 words from November 1 - November 30. The idea is to write constantly and not edit anything until you're finished. A concept that is much easier in theory.
This is the first year that I am personally participating in NaNoWriMo. Admittingly I knew nothing about it until this year. The reason I'm mentioning it now is to see if any of you are participating and if you are how far you've come?
I may create a NaNoWriMo forum at some point also, but there would be little point in doing so if I'm the only person in the group participating. So, who's wracking their brain to pump out 50,000 words this month?
