About Me:
I'm married to a husband who agreed I should quit my line of work as a residential contractor and write when I get a chance. So, I threw away the blueprints, ditched the hurricane codes, and entered the world of imagination.
What I Write:
You might say I'm all over the page. I write children's stories, Christian historical fiction, mysteries, and short stories.
Credits & Accomplishments:
Well, if you at my accomplishments in the construction realm, I won two "first place" awards for homes I designed and built. In writing, I'm a beginner. I've had four short stories published, but I'm searching for an agent for my historical novel.
Hobbies
My favorite thing to do is camping--alone or with others. I love to walk trails or sit in the woods and write. I read, act in dramas, entertain children, and teach a Sunday School class.
Music:
Depends on the mood. I like soft jazz, country, hymns, and the "oldies". Sometimes I just put in a CD of mountain streams, birds, and rain.
Favorite Books & Authors:
"The Country Beyond" by James Oliver Curwood is my favorite book, but I love a good mystery--one that keeps me from figuring out the ending.
