Has anyone here made enough money from writing to actually quit your day job? Mine is driving me insane. I know I should be thankful to even have a job, but it is so incredibly boring and my boss is a schitzophrenic freak that every day I want to run away. I could get a full time job with the local paper, but the salary isn't enough to pay my bills, so I'm stuck in Amature County being the bottom feeder of the corporate ladder.
If anyone has any success stories to share, I could really go for some encouragement right now. Thanks!

I wish I had encouraging words. But from what I read, it is better to keep your job until you hit it big. I have heard of people who took that leap of faith and ended up with a six figure deal. I wouldn't do it. I also read that if you are making 20,000 a year from your writing, then you are doing a good job. I don't know if you can live off of so little.
