    Writing at the Bookstore

Friday, December 5, 2008, 05:21 PM PST [General]

After days of procrastinating I managed a couple of pages on my children's mystery book and then, to reward myself, drove down the hill to Borders.  Over a latte I wrote some more.

Many years ago I was in an improv group and our leader/teacher used to say:  Activity breeds activity.  And I pass that wisdom along.

I hadn't logged on to Writers Market Community for a couple of weeks - I was having technical problems.  There were two messages for friend requests but neither our laptop nor the desktop would let me say YES to the requests.  Today, because I'm still on the activity railroad, I logged onto the Community site and like magic I accepted the friends with one click of the key, no problem.

By the way  if there's anyone who likes reading classic literature, let me know.  I'm about to start Melville's MOBY for the second time.  And I recently read Joyce's DUBLINERS.

    Keep on writing...

Sometimes, writing at a new place really helps. I'm struggling with that right now--really wanting to stay home & write, but wondering if its time to hit the coffeehouse for a shift and increase in productivity. :)
