What I Write:
I've written freelance for years for various publications. I enjoy writing travel pieces, features on Christian missionaries, and in general 'feel good' features.
Credits & Accomplishments:
A couple of years back I won third place in a national contest sponsored by the Evangelical Press Association. It was for a piece I wrote about baseball instruction for youth in Israel. It was an awesome trip. It was a nice honor but winning awards is not really what writing is about, right?
Hobbies
Tennis, golf, guitar, travel...online chess can be addictive at times.
Music:
Pretty much everything but rap or heavy rock.
Favorite Movies:
Too many to name...O Brother Where Art Thou, Shawshank Redemption (everyone names that one), just saw Hudsucker Proxy again recently (great flick), Great Santini, Lonesome Dove (I know, it was a TV miniseries), Places in the Heart, Cool Hand Luke, Life is Beautiful, Rocky, Lord of the Rings, Sophie's Choice...and others.
