Just to update anyone who might be curious.  My near death experience based book Crossing Twice, in which I had originally planned to include all of my changes in my approach to counseling, has been stripped down to meat and potatoes.

So, now it's Crossing Twice: Ten Questions Answered About the Afterlife.  I have a wonderful story to tell and it dawned on me only handful of people are going to interested in my changed academics.  Meanwhile, everyone wants to know what happens when we die.

My near death experience was not a common one.  Well documented and given from a clinicians point of view, I hope it is more revealing and inspiring than other works in the genre.

Have I sold out?  I'm not for sure.  More people will hear the good news that there is a loving, compassionate, inclusive and empowering Creator that has no desire to send anyone to Hell but to support us all while we are on this life.   But, what do I do with the 80 pages of clinician data and new counseling theory?  Oh, my.  Yet another book begins!

It's more than a catchy title.  It's a new way of thinking, essentially combining the power of the mind fueled with the flame of the Spirit.  So, how does one land an agent these days?  Is it enough that I have Honda looking at this to sink money into sponsoring it - IF it's published?  And, they mean published, published.

This gets the wheels to turning.  Faster than butter on Oprah's corn has my little plotting self-publicist inner child.  How do I quickly attract an agent?  Rent Times Square sign for a few seconds of "Agent Needed!  Call Reece!"  Believe it or not, I thought about it.  But, instead, I'm turning to the great people here.  What can one do while one is waiting for the QL to go to book proposal review to finally making it to the beginning of the visit to the acquisition editors?

Ideas, shoot 'em to me!  I'll post them somewhere where you'll become happily famous!  Or, so says my little inner self-publicists!

I'm having a little laugh at myself.  I've been writing diligently, learning the ropes and reacquainting myself with my first love and passion - then pen.  Or, rather the keyboard.  I'm having the little laugh over the fact I've just furiously written four articles for Demand Studios all just to see them click over to the "Published Work" section.

I think I may need a 12 step meeting.  The little words "Published Work" with my little byline.  Oh, the thriil!  The excitement!  The $15?  Oh, well.  It's still a great experience and it adds up over time.

Of course, I'm still dreaming happy dreams of finding an agent or publisher for Crossing Twice: Answers from the Source and An Introduction to Spirit Thinking®, my two works after my near death experience.  The NDE did jolt me back to the reality of doing what one loves and what one can be good at.  So, my name is Reece.  I am a writer.  It's been one minute since I check my "approved status."

Hellooooooo to the Gang!

I'm new here so I'll keep this short.  I am a professional pastoral counselor spreading the incredible idea there does exist a loving, accepting, empowering Creator wishing to have an active influence in our lives.  Being gay, I've had a number of religion arrows thrown my way. 

In 2008, I crossed over in a near death experience to find a beautiful, awe filled "heaven" awaiting us all.  Sadly, I was sent back.  Until the day I cross again, I've got the zealousness for my message that a drag queen has for a proper cocktail!

I do love to be playful, but I have a very serious side when it comes to my writing and my ability to help people find love within themselves for themselves and others.  I have written Crossing Twice: Answers from the Source and continue to sniff about for an agent.  Here agent, agent, agent.  The time draws nigh, though, when I may very well POD Crossing so that I may bring my Spirit Thinking® Series to the people in need of a good lasting dose of self inspiration.
