About Me:
I am 52, been married for 30 years, my children are grown, and I take each day as it comes. I try to help those in need when I can, but have enough God given sense to know when to walk away, but keep them in prayer. I'm enjoying the second part of my life and all the people good and not so good who have crossed my path. The main thing is that I had a chance to experience them, and I look forward to more experiences.

[General]
Just another day, I don't think so. This morning there was a sense of cohesiveness in the air. Perhaps it was the culmination of people working together for an expected end. People who chose regardless of financial status, educational level, rich, poor, black, white, lemon yellow, orange orange, what ever, to put their differences aside to accomplish a goal. Only this time I feel we will choose to stay together so as not to repeat the mistakes of the past.
I have always found the human race fascinating, because we are for ever changing, and for the most part for good. But sometimes a change takes place that causes us to really examine ourselves. To look within to see what our true purpose in life is. Yes we all have a purpose and no matter how we decide to participate in this life it will impact some body. And trust me it is not just about you or me there is a much bigger, I mean huge picture that we all our a part of.
I choose life, well of course, but I also choose to be an optimist. That's right! Even now with all the negativity out there, because I have come to realize that when things seem really bad that is the time to speak good. Meaning that I speak against it. Words are powerful, they can lift up, tear down, encourage, discourage, and cause life or death. The human race is the voice in the earth and things happen because we speak and what we speak comes to pass.
So today is not just another day, because we spoke as a people united and acted upon that spoken word. Choosing to work together to make this a better world for future generations. Think about it, in the first book of the Bible Genesis1:3 "God said , Let there be light: and there was light" The tongue though small is a powerful weapon, so let us speak love, unity, hope, peace, prosperity, good health, wealth, and abundant life. Let us walk in love with one another starting now, not just for another day, but to have a future of Awesome Days.
