About Me: About me? Well I guess I'll start at the beginning. No no not that far back, just the recent beginning. I'm a few years older than my teeth which makes me .... you get the idea I'm sure. Grew up in Kentucky a few hundred years ago, Gave a few years to Uncle during that Asian thing back in the 60's. Survived disco and the 70's. Waded through the 80's in Wyoming, which, for a freelance photographer, was pure joy. Some how in the 90's I lost my mind and ended up in Syracuse NY. Still don't have a clue why but I did. And now from the mid 90's until the time of this writing, I'm settled in the mountains of Southwest Colorado.
I'm married. Got no children I'm aware of. Opted for dogs instead and currently have 2 wolfdogs, Loki and Sabaka.. (critters are easier to deal with. They give you grief, you just put them in the garage and no one worries. It's harder to do that with kids.) I'm sure there's a ton of stuff I could write about but why? If you're interested just give me a holler and I'll be happy to fill in the blanks.
What I Write: I work at writing short story horror. That can spill over into mystery and on occasion, if you include the sex involved which is almost a requirement for those two, a romantic tale...usually twisted into something darker.
Credits & Accomplishments: I can't claim anything in the writing yet however I am a publish freelance nature photographer. I'm still working on the writing

Favorite Television Shows: Current shows include, Criminal Minds, CSI, Without a Trace (even if there are clues all over the place), Fringe, Burn Notice, Ghost Whisperer to name a few.
Favorite Books & Authors: King, Koontz, Shakespeare, Rice and a host of others.
Books include: Intensity, The Witching Hour, The Alienist. The Exorcist. to name a few
Heroes: I don't have a single hero. I have pieces from many.

Is it better to keep quiet or speak up?

Thursday, September 3, 2009, 01:46 PM MST [General]

Some days it just doesn't pay to get out of bed and other days I find I just can't keep my mouth shut.  Today is a case of the latter and not the former.  Be forwarned, this is a rant with a point, hopefully, attatched to it.

This is one of those days I just can't sit back and not speak my mind.  Now if you dare, follow the link.

Actually, I had the advantage of knowing the town to begin with, but wanted to have something solid to show people or use as a reference for whatever might come along.

I too like to people watch and have come up with some wild conclusions about a few people, but haven't put pen to paper yet to preserve them.

Thanks for being my friend, despite all of my quirks and faults.

"for all the money in the deficit", that's hilarious! I liked your comment about not having a single hero, but taking peices from many. Wish I'd thought of it first. How true.
