As I scroll through pages and pages of publishers and agents, I see that most ask for a bio submission along with manuscripts. I've rolled around different versions of my bio for days now and am completely unsatisfied with everything I've come up with.
My novels are full of wit and humor - or at least I think they are - and it's really hard for me to sit down and just write facts without sounding like a half-brained moron.
I am a mom.
I like peanut butter.
I went to skool.
I am certain I would NEVER make it in journalism.
So, my question is... should I shoot for presenting MYSELF in my biography or should I just stick to the basic details and attempt to sound professional? Should I mix both? Any journalist-types out there for hire? :-)

I've been a journalist and a PR chick for 20 years. E-mail me at pageofaquarius@yahoo.com and I'd be glad to work with you on it. I don't charge my friends; I consider it scratching each other's backs.
