Got another reject today. I had actually forgotten that I had any query letters outstanding - but this makes somethingteen in total. I think it's a rule, when you've lost track of your rejections you can call yourself a legitimate writer.
The first chapter is moving slowly, the past week has not been good for my creative half, and having Batman: Arkham Asylum in my PS3 has probably not helped me actually get down and focus. The good news is that I've gotten some minor writing done today and that's usually a precursor to major writing. Additionally, this weekend contains the first friday night in who the heck knows how long where I'm not A: going out somewhere or B: going out somewhere Saturday morning. And I loves my girl but she's not coming over, either.
That spells productivity. My goal has always been to get this thing finished and out into the world and I'm riiiiiiiiiight on the cusp.

Hey, don't feel bad. I've got about 60+ in my email. After the first 30 or so I just opened them knowing what they would say.(secretly hoping I was wrong.). Keep sending out the queries, one day someone will love it. Rejection is part of writing.
